i have no great shots of the ceremony because i was up in the choir/organ loft playing with my trio, but i made up for that at the reception (which was held at the restaurant school on walnut street). the location was perfect and it was definitely one of the prettiest receptions i've ever been to, hands down. at one point, one of the professional photographers came over to compare lenses with me. reverse macro". basically, you hold two lenses together, face to face, and take a picture through them. i love it because it's given my old kit lens new life and it produces some awesome results.<br teach. i have no idea about its history, but it just sits there and begs to be photographed. i saw a ladder sitting up against it today and decided to use it for my "365 days" shot for the day, to be submitted to the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/1040132@N20/">bench monday group</a> over on flickr. the first two pictures below were also taken today and the next three were taken back during it because of what his songs and lyrics mean to me. he tells stories of life and love, good times and bad times, triumphs and despair and in between all that, the tiny little things that make life so damn beautiful. i like to think that i take photography that celebrates the beauty of daily life around me. from casual glances to posed portraits, my goal is to find those tiny little details that
